American Legion
A proponent for amateur baseball for decades, this organization has a rich tradition of supporting the Red Wings. This organization has hosted the Annual Welcome Home Red Wings Dinner since 1928.

Locust Hill/Rotary Clubs
Since the inception of the LPGA in 1977 Locust Hill has remained the only venue over its 23 year stay in Rochester; Rochester Rotary and Locust Hill have been involved through the years in raising money for the Rotary Sunshine Camps.
2000
Lopez, Nancy
One of golf's most popular and successful players of all time, Lopez endeared herself to Rochester fans with her shot-making skills and infectious personality. Lopez won three LPGA tournaments at Locust Hill.
2003
McElwain, Jason
"J-Mac" reached international acclaim by scoring 20 points for Greece Athena in a varsity game against Spencerport on Feb. 15. The high-functioning autistic student inspired people all over the world and has a movie on his life in the works.
2006
Monroe County Special Olympics
For more than two decades the organization has provided athletic opportunities for disabled children throughout the Rochester area; under the guidance of Marian Turner the MCSO now features more than 1,600 Special Olympians in two dozen sports.

Rochester War Memorial
The longtime home of the Rochester Americans has hosted the Harlem Globetrotters, Ringling Brothers circus, Section V basketball tournament, 1956 NBA All-Star Game, Kodak Classic (featuring Syracuse and Georgetown), figure skating exhibitions, pro wrestling, boxing, Olympic gymnastics qualifying and Knighthawks and RazorSharks games.

Rochester Wheels
For more than 30 years, the group has given people with disabilities an opportunity to play wheelchair basketball. The Wheels feature players from Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo and play games both locally and
nationally.

Silver Stadium
Home to the Red Wings from 1929-96, superstars such as Stan Musial, Bob Gibson, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, and Cal Ripken Jr. played there. Known as Red Wing Stadium until 1968, when it was renamed in honor of Morrie Silver.
1998
Wegmans Food Markets
The supermarket chain stepped to the plate in 1997 and became the “name sponsor” for the annual LPGA tournament at Locust Hill and has used proceeds to donate more than $1 million to Rotary-sponsored camps for disabled children. Wegmans also was the original sponsor for the Buffalo Bills training camp at St. John Fisher College.
