A FAN'S GUIDE TO FRONTIER FIELD Welcome to Frontier Field, home of the Red Wings! We hope you’ll find it to be a comfortable, convenient and friendly place to watch a ballgame, and that you’ll visit us often! ACCESS—Frontier Field is accessible from Interstate 490, just west of the High Falls District in downtown Rochester. Click here for directions. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES—Adjacent to the Ticket Office at One Morrie Silver Way, Rochester, NY 14608, (585) 454-1001. Click here for the Rochester Community Baseball, Inc. Staff Directory. ATM—For your convenience, an Automated Teller Machine is located near the Team Store, provided by Summit Federal Credit Union. Two additional ATM's are available at either end of the concourse - one near the Red Osier Stand/10th Inning Bar area on the third base side, and one between La Fiesta and Ice Cream Plus on the first base side. AUTOGRAPHS—International League rules prohibit players from signing autographs from 15 minutes prior to the first pitch until the conclusion of the ballgame. Selected Red Wings are available for autographs on the Main Concourse prior to all games, at other times to be determined during the season, and at various locations around Rochester during community appearances. BANNERS—Banners may be hung in the ballpark as long as they do not interfere with the game in progress or obstruct the view of others. Banners may not contain political, religious or commercial messages and must be in good taste in keeping with the family atmosphere at Frontier Field. BOX OFFICE—The Frontier Field Box Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. On the days of a Frontier Field event, the Box Office is open from 10 a.m. through the time of the event. For ticket information or reservations, please call (585) 423-WING (9464). Tickets to future home games are available during games at the advance ticket window, located near the Main Gates. CAMERA/VIDEO/RADIO/TV—Hand-held audio-visual equipment is permitted in the stadium. However, flash photography and video reproduction of a game is strictly prohibited. Also, no tripods or other equipment may be used that interfere with other fans’ enjoyment. Please call the Box Office before bringing any questionable equipment. CAPACITY—Frontier Field’s official seating capacity is 10,840 with the possibility of an additional 2,500 to 3,000 more in bleacher and standing-room-only areas in the event of a sellout crowd. DESIGNATED DRIVERS—The Red Wings and Frontier Field management want you to enjoy the game and have a safe drive home. To that end, we hope that you and your friends will use our Designated Driver program. Fans of legal drinking age holding a valid driver’s license are eligible to become “Designated Drivers” for the evening. In return for signing a pledge not to drink alcoholic beverages during the game, and for accepting responsibility for driving other members of their group home, Designated Drivers will receive coupons for free soft drinks during the game. DIAMOND SUITES—Frontier Field is home to 36 luxury suites. Each suite has its own TV, bar, refrigerator, ice maker, and private balcony. Renting a suite at Frontier Field is a great way to entertain clients, reward employees or simply enjoy a game as a group. Click here for more information. EMERGENCY PHONE CALLS—As a special service, fans expecting emergency phone calls may leave their seat locations with Guest Services located on the Main Concourse. If a call is received, Guest Services will dispatch a representative with the message to that seat location. Due to the many requests, public address paging is accommodated only in emergency situations. FAMILY SECTION—Section 224 (Upper Box – Rows L through O; Reserved – rows P through T) is designated as the Red Wings Family Section. This is a no-alcohol seating area courtesy of Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Seats are available upon request at the Box Office, subject to availability. A reminder that smoking is not permitted in the grandstand, but in designated areas only. FIRST AID—The First Aid Room is located on the Main Concourse near the Main Gates behind the home plate area. Emergency medical personnel, including paramedic units, are on duty at each game for the safety and convenience of all fans. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY—Containers with food and/or beverages may not be brought into Frontier Field. Concession stands and portable carts are located throughout the stadium to serve your needs. FOUL BALLS—The Red Wings are happy to have fans keep any baseball which is hit or thrown into the stands. However, any ball or bat hit or thrown into the stands can be dangerous, so please be alert at all times. GATES OPEN—Frontier Field gates open one hour and 15 minutes before game time unless otherwise noted. GROUP OUTINGS/PICNICS/OUTDOOR SUITES —Discounts for group outings (20 or more) are available for most events. GUEST SERVICES—The Preferred Care Guest Services booth is located across from the Red Wings Team Store. This personal service center operates from the time the stadium opens until after the game ends. Here, fans may obtain information, offer suggestions or register complaints, and receive general assistance during visits to Frontier Field. INJURIES—Injuries should be reported to the nearest usher or stadium personnel, and tended to by stadium first aid personnel. Rochester Community Baseball, Inc. and Frontier Field are not liable for any harm, injury, or damages sustained by any spectator or to any spectator’s property, including all risks–whether foreseen or unforeseen– unless the harm, injury, or damages result from the clear negligence of Rochester Community Baseball, Inc. or Frontier Field. LOST AND FOUND—Lost and found items should be taken to Guest Services. After each game, all collected items will be taken to the Red Wings Administrative Offices. MESSAGE BOARD/PUBLIC ADDRESS GREETINGS—The Red Wings are happy to pass along greetings for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. For all greetings, the Red Wings request a donation of $15.00, which will be contributed to local charities. Visit the Preferred Care Guest Services located across from the Red Wings Team Store to arrange for your announcement; requests must be made by the end of the third inning. PARKING AREAS—Public parking is available in Lot D behind Kodak Tower on Morrie Silver Way for $5.00 per car. Season ticket holders may use Lot C on Plymouth Avenue. PETS—With the exception of seeing-eye/guide dogs, pets are not permitted at Frontier Field. PICNIC AREAS/OUTDOOR SUITES—Click here for more information. RAIN CHECKS—In the unlikely event that a game is postponed, fans may exchange their tickets for seats to a future regular season home game. Parking vouchers will also be issued for Red Wings lots only. There are no cash refunds for tickets or parking. RESTROOMS—Spacious restrooms are located on all levels of the stadium. Diaper changing areas are available in both men’s and women’s restrooms. A family (unisex) restroom is available on the Main Concourse. SMOKING POLICY—For the health and comfort of all fans, smoking is strictly prohibited in all seating sections, restrooms, concourse areas, and suites at Frontier Field. For fans wishing to smoke, designated areas are located beyond the grandstand on both the 1st- and 3rd-base sides. SPECIAL SERVICES—Special attention has been given to all areas of the stadium to ensure that it’s fan-friendly. Frontier Field provides many services and amenities to accommodate the needs of guests with disabilities. Information regarding equal access seating, elevators, handicapped parking, TDD equipment, assistive listening equipment, wheelchair availability, and more may be obtained at Guest Services or by calling (585) 262-2009. TEAM STORE—The Red Wings Team Store is open during all games, and Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., year-round. The Team Store features Red Wings logo merchandise, game-worn and personalized jerseys, the most popular Minor League caps from around the country, and much more. Two TTY pay telephones are also available on the Main Concourse level. TICKETS BY PHONE—Tickets are available over the phone through the Frontier Field Box Office. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. To order by phone, dial (585) 423-WING (9464). There is a $2.00 shipping and handling fee per mail order. TICKETS BY MAIL—Ordering tickets by mail is easy. Depending on the demands of game operations, tour patrons will be shown the press box, suite level, visit the field, and receive information on the construction and amenities of Frontier Field. WALK OF FAME—The Frontier Field Walk of Fame is a walkway within the stadium featuring the names of fans, players, management and media spanning Rochester’s sports history. The walkway is comprised of brick pavers, each displaying the name of a member of the Rochester Sports Walk of Fame, surrounded by bricks with names of fans and businesses who support the history of Rochester Sports. Each brick sells for $100.00, and corporate logo bricks are also available. Visit the Walk of Fame near the Plymouth Avenue entrance to the stadium.
