APPLICANTS |
Must be at least a college Junior or Senior, with interest in the Sports Management field. All internships must be done for college credit. |
GENERAL INFORMATION |
The Red Wings are the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, and play in the International League. The Red Wings have been a member of the International League since 1885 and won a league record 10 Governors' Cups. The Red Wings play their home games at Frontier Field, located in downtown Rochester. The team offices are located at the stadium. |
INTERNSHIPS |
The Red Wings have both full-time and part-time internships available for the 2008 season. These internships consist of all the aspects listed below.
ALL INTERNSHIPS ARE NON-PAYING. HOWEVER. COMMISSIONS WILL BE PAID ON TICKET PACKAGE SALES AND GROUP SALES; other opportunities may be available.
The information below is for in-season internships.
The Red Wings do employ off-season interns. Each of these are formulated on a case-by-case basis. Please use the contact information below to inquire for off-season positions. |

| Group ticket sales, ticket packages, and individual tickets |
| Sponsor page advertisements |
| Picnics |
Promotions |
| Implement overall promotional schedule, giveaways, etc. |
| Organize special game day events (ex: pitch, hit and run contest, Mascot Day, Christmas in July, baseball card show, Good Student Night, etc.) |
| Promote the team at numerous events throughout the region |
| Assist in player appearances and Spikes/Mittsy (mascot) appearances |
| Select and instruct contestants |
Production |
| Assist in-house production during games (scoreboards, closed-circuit camera, etc.) |
Miscellaneous |
| Assist with non-game day events at Frontier Field (high school baseball games, concerts, etc.) |
| Make deliveries throughout the area |
| Assist fans at the Guest Services, and with promotional displays |
| Pull field tarp |
