FRANK BERTAINA- Inducted in 2005 LHP Frank Bertaina posted a 44-20 record over the course of five seasons in Rochester (1963, 1965-66, 1969-70), and his winning percentage of .688 is the fourth-highest in team history. In 1965, Bertaina led the International League in strikeouts with 188, which ranks third on Rochesters all-time single-season strikeout list. His 501 career strikeouts are tied for the most ever by a Red Wings hurler. Frank enjoyed his finest season as a Red Wing in 1966, going 9-2 with a 2.33 ERA while leading the Wings to the division championship and pennant. Bertaina went on to pitch in the Major Leagues for Baltimore, Washington and St. Louis.
