The Red Wings finished the 2007 season with a paid attendance of 473,288 (average of 7,064 per opening). The 2007 total is the fourth highest attendance total in franchise history, and the fourth straight season with an attendance increase over the previous season. Triple-A Baseball - Minor League Baseball's highest classification - is made up of 30 teams throughout North America, developing talent for Major League affiliates while providing affordable entertainment for fans of all ages. Attendance in Triple-A Baseball has risen from 9.4 million in 1990, to over 14.1 million in 2007. Triple-A Baseball is one of the best bargains in family entertainment; A 2007 survey of Triple-A clubs showed an average price of $57.90 for a family of four (tickets, hot dogs, soda, beer, yearbook and parking).
