2007: Promoted from Double-A New Britain 6/21…was hitting .308-7-37 with 19 doubles for the Rock Cats… Hit .365 in June for New Britain…2-for-4 with two HR and two RBI 7/12 vs. Indianapolis... promoted to Minnesota 7/26 for big league debut…joined Red Wings on Major League Injury Rehab Assignment 8/17 ( infection in right leg)…rejoined Twins 8/23...Overall with Minnesota: .244-2-10 in 33 games…got first MLB hit off Paul Byrd 7/27 in Cleveland…hit first MLB home run off former Wing Joe Borowski 9/5 in Cleveland.

2006: Spent the season with Double-A Connecticut (Eastern League)...played in all but 11 games for the Defenders...scored three runs on May 21 against New Britain and scored four the next day against New Hampshire...had eight hits from June 11-16, adding two runs and two RBI off two doubles and a homerun...recorded nine hits, one double and two RBI from July 5-8...had a season-high five RBI on July 14 against Portland...named Eastern League Mid-Season All-Star on July 12.

2005: Opened the year debuting with Double-A Norwich, but settled in as key player on the Single-A San Jose club that captured California League title...struggled to .228 avg. over 64 games with Navigators, but rebounded to hit at .282 clip in 55 Cal League contests...collected 6 RBI in 8 post season outings.

2004: Spent the entire year with Single-A San Jose (Giants)...appeared in 88 games, 71 as designated hitter and 17 at third base...hit his first professional home run and went 4-for-5 with four rbi, July 21...hit safely in 13 of 14 games from July 17-August 2...during the span he hit .472 (25-for-53) with eight multi-hit games...had four hitting streaks of six-or-more games, including a season long 10-game streak from July 21-August 2...hit .343 (35-for-102) in July (26 games)...posted a .314 (49-for-156) at home.

2003: Started his professional career at Single-A Hagerstown (Giants) and was the clubs everyday third basemen...went 2-for-4 with a double in his first game July 2...hit safely in 18 of 21 games going 30-for-76 (.395) from July 15-August 15..had a season-high four-hit game with three runs scored, July 31....hit .295 vs. lefties (13-for-44).

Graduated from Terry Parker (Jacksonville, FL) High School, where he played both baseball and soccer...attended Central Florida Community College...attended University of South Carolina, and is the only player in school history to collect over 200 career hits in 2 seasons...helped Gamecocks to the College World Series as senior in 2003, capturing SEC batting crown with .393 mark...garnered 3rd team All-America honors by Collegiate Baseball, while being selected 1st team All-SEC...his brother, Greg, signed with Texas in 2001.
