2007: Began the season with Double-A New Britain…promoted to Rochester 5/30 after Kevin Slowey was promoted to Minnesota and spent the rest of the year in the Red Wings starting rotation...Went 4-1 with a 2.66 ERA in nine starts for New Britain...Was 15-6 with a 3.07 ERA overall…his 15 wins tied with Jeff Manship for organization lead…his 124 strikeouts were third in Twins system...His 3.24 ERA was third in the IL…induced 19 double plays to lead the league...Was 6-2, 2.89 ERA on road; 5-3, 3.64 ERA at home…vs. LH: .250 with two HR; vs. RH: .266 with 11 HR...Won six straight decisions between July 7 to Aug. 7…won four straight starts July 23 to August 7...Tied for second in IL with three complete games: June 22 at Charlotte (7 IP, CG, Shutout), July 23 at Ottawa (7 IP) & Aug. 7 at Syracuse (5 IP)...Was 0-2 with a 8.10 ERA in three starts vs. Buffalo…posted a 2.43 ERA against the rest of the IL...Struck out nine batters twice: June 4 vs. SWB (6.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 9 SO) & Aug. 27 vs. Pawtucket (7 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO)…Won a gold medal with Team USA in the World Cup, starting the Gold Medal game 2006: Began season at Single-A Beloit...was 2-0, 1.70 (42.1 ip, 8 er) in six starts, April 18-May 16....tossed 6-plus innings in eight consecutive starts, April 18-May 28...pitched season-high 9.0 innings in complete game shutout, May 10 at West Michigan...promoted to Single-A Ft. Myers, June 6...tossed 6-plus innings in six consecutive starts, June 9-July 6...promoted to Double-A New Britain, July 14...tied season-high eight strikeouts, July 23 at Erie...was eighth in Twins’ organization in earned run average (3.49).
