2007: Played seven games in three separate stints for the Orioles; made three starts at DH and two in LF… Batted .289 (11-for-38) in 23 spring training games with the Orioles…Had five doubles, two homers and three RBI and tied for fourth on the team in games played…Batted .231 (42-for-182) with eight home runs and 23 RBI in 54 games for Norfolk…Went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in his first two games with the Orioles, 4/17-18 at Tampa Bay…His pinch-hit 3-run HR 4/17 off Brian Stokes was his first major league homer…Prior to his second Orioles stint, hit safely in his final nine games with Norfolk, batting .410 (13-for-31) with three home runs and seven RBI, raising his average from .152 to .210…Had gone 2-for-39 over his previous 12 games for the Tides before the hitting streak…Was also with Orioles June 22-27 and July 14-27…Went 0-for-2 with a walk on June 24 at Arizona, his only game in his second stint with the club… With Norfolk he drew a team-high 48 walks and had a .356 on base percentage despite batting .250 (72-for-288)…He slugged .526 in 78 at-bats against lefties (three doubles, one triple and six home runs).

2006: Began season at Triple-A Portland...had two-homer game, May 21 at Memphis...had six-game hit-streak, going 12-for-25 (.440), June 27-July 2...had four-hit game, July 2 at Colorado Springs...went 5-for-6 with two home runs and five rbi, August 27 vs. Las Vegas...hit .345 (48-for-139) with runners in scoring position and .409 (9-for-22) with three home runs with the bases loaded...led Pacific Coast League in home runs and rbi, was second in extra-base hits (70) and doubles, and was third in slugging percentage (.572)...led all minor leaguers in rbi, was third in extra-base hits, fourth in home runs and 10th in total bases (274)...had contract selected by San Diego, September 7...appeared in three games, going 0-for-3 in three pinch-hit appearances with the Padres...signed with Baltimore as minor league free agent, December 26.


2005: Spent entire season at Triple-A Portland...had two-homer game, April 14 vs. Sacramento...season-high nine-game hit-streak, going 11-for-39 (.282), June 13-21...second two-homer game of season, June 21 vs. Fresno...third two-homer game of season, July 2 at Las Vegas...disabled with sprained left ankle, August 27-September 3...led club in doubles, total bases (243), walks and runs scored...tied for third in Pacific Coast League with 63 extra-base hits...tied for organizational lead in home runs.


2004: Began season at Triple-A Portland...batted .308 with 13 home runs and Pacific Coast League leading 47 rbi prior to being recalled by San Deigo, May 28...made Major League debut as pinch-hitter, May 30 at Milwaukee...singled off Mark Hendrickson for first career hit, June 15 vs. Tampa Bay...optioned to Portland, June 19.


2003: Began season at Double-A Mobile...season-high seven-game hit-streak, May 12-20...batted .316 (30-for-95) with nine doubles, nine home runs and 24 rbi in May...had two-homer game, August 15 at Birmingham...led club in games, at-bats, runs scored, doubles, home runs, rbi, walks, slugging percentage (.514) and on-base percentage (.387)...led Southern League in with 59 extra-base hits and was second in home runs and runs scored...promoted to Portland, August 26...ranked as San Diego’s sixth Best Prospect by Baseball America.


2002: Began season at Single-A Ft. Wayne...had 15-game hit-streak, going 20-for-49 (.408), April 17-May 4...promoted to Lake Elsinore, May 20...season-high 16-game hit-streak, going 27-for-66 (.409), June 11-30...had two-homer game, July 5 at Lancaster...named California League Player of the Week, August 12-18...reached base safely via hit or walk in 30 consecutive games, July 31-August 28...led all Padres’ minor leaguers in batting and was second in rbi...led California League in batting and was fourth in on-base percentage (.411) and slugging percentage (.540).
