2007: Pitched at both Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A New Orleans...Was 12-10 with a 3.20 ERA in 27 starts between two levels…Earned Sterling Organizational Pitcher of the Year honors.... Went 11-10 with a 3.32 ERA in 26 starts with B-Mets of the Eastern League… In 151.2 innings, he surrendered 145 hits, 74 runs, 56 earned, with 43 walks and 110 strikeouts.... Permitted two earned runs or less in 19 of his 26 starts…Selected to play for the USA Team in the Futures Game and the Northern Division Team in the Eastern League All-Star Game…Was promoted to New Orleans on Aug. 28...Was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in one start for the Zephyrs… Permitted two hits with three strikeouts over six innings pitched...Started Game Four of the best-of-five opening round series against Round Rock…In that game he tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits with eight strikeouts to help the Zephyrs clinch the series and advance to the Pacific Coast League Championship.

2006: Signed with the Mets on August 9 and made his professional debut on August 19 for the Gulf Coast Mets...made his Double-A debut on August 24 with Binghamton and pitched 3.0 innings, allowing two runs on two hits with three walks and six strikeouts vs. Erie...made three starts for Binghamton for the season ended...pitched in the Arizona Fall League with the Mesa Solar Sox...made five starts going 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA (15.0 ip, 10 er).

PERSONAL: Kevin John Mulvey...graduated from Bishop George Ahr (NJ) High School...named a high school All-American by Collegiate Baseball in 2003...attended Villanova University where he was an All-Big-East selection in 2006.

AMATEUR CAREER: Attended Villanova University where he pitched for the Wildcats from 2004-06...was named second team All-Big East and was the Philadelphia Diamond Five Pitcher of the Year in 2006...posted a 3.61 ERA while tossing five complete games with a career-high 92.1 innings pitched in 2006...tossed a no-hitter, needing just 77 pitches, against Connecticut on March 26, 2005...was a 2005 third team All-Big East selection...led the Wildcats in strikeouts (73) and innings pitched (71.2)... his 222 strikeouts are the most over a three-year span by a Villanova pitcher...made 15 starts in 2004 posting a 7-4 record with a 5.29 ERA...went 4-0 in his final four starts...pitched for the Harwich Mariners in the Cape Cod Summer League in 2004 and 2005.
