Career Notes: November 7, 1996 was a historic day in Rochester Red Wings history. A new member of the Red Wings family was born, and his name was Spikes. The new team mascot has since captured the hearts of fans young and old, while making everyone around him feel a little better. Spikes has visited hospitals, churches, schools and even other ballparks, but no matter where he is, Frontier Field will always be home. Spikes is an important part of the Red Wings, and lives and trains in Rochester year-round. If your school, church or youth group is planning to attend a Red Wings game look for Spikes in your section, or catch him signing autographs near the team store in the 8th inning.

Spikes looks forward to seeing you at the ballpark! You can send Spikes an e-mail at Spikes@RedWingsBaseball.com.

For information on having Spikes appear at your event call 454-1001, ext 3041 or e-mail MGoldman@RedWingsBaseball.com.
